Phones

Yesterday my father chose to install EIGHT phones in our house. The phone he picked is a real great model, 24 lines, a hold button, a transfer button, a conference button and an intercom button.

When he came in my room to install my phone I tried to resist it. I told him, "I don't ever talk on this phone! I barely talk on my cell phone, why would I want that? I don't have room for it on my desk! No, it can't go there, it won't fit!" I turned around to talk to Dawn and when I turned back around he had my new office equipped phone propped up on my printer.

I have now hidden the phone behind a picture frame, and as soon as they are connected I will be unplugging it and setting it in the hallway for his use.

Other locations of the phones: Laundry room, Bridger's room, Mom and Dad's room, Mom and Dad's Bathroom, Kitchen, Family Room (this one really gets me, it is literally in the same room as the kitchen phone) and the office. I am just waiting for the one to arrive for the garage, the entry way, the living room, the dining room, the stairway, the hallway, the pantry.

I think one phone in the kitchen would have been more than sufficient.

I am going to try harder than my hardest to NEVER answer the phone here.

When I am home I have the same determination not to answer the phone, but I have become so programmed to answer the phone that the second it rings I am racing all over the house searching for it. And since I don't live there any longer I can guarantee it is not for me. I don't know what is wrong with me. Good luck with your problem.

With all these extra lines and features, I might finally be able to start up that sex line I've always dreamed of.

Yes, you have all those phones, but do you have tv yet?
